Karen Haught

Karen Haught became the Executive Director in April of 2012. Karen is a graduate of West Liberty University and has a diverse background which includes 28 years of business management, 30 years teaching experience, non-profit management, and sales consulting. She is tasked with overseeing the day to day needs of the organization, writing the budget, procuring funds through grants, fundraising and donations, project development, marketing and human resource management. Karen is always looking for opportunities and projects for The Seeing Hand and believes her work will not be done until every blind and visually impaired individual has the same opportunities as their sighted peers.
