Outreach

Part of our mission is to increase awareness for our cause and our programs. It is vital that we reach out to the community in every way possible in order for us to grow our non-profit.

Approximately 12 million people 40 years and over in the United States have vision impairment, including one million who are blind. The more individuals we can reach out for support, the more individuals we can provide assistance.

Community Events

We are always looking to get involved in local community events. The staff at The Seeing Hand Association makes sure we visit and setup booths at health fairs, youth fairs, various trade shows, and other non-profit events. The more we can talk with the community, the more we can create for those we help.

Speaking Events

We always appreciate an opportunity to speak with large groups about our cause. Few know or understand the struggles of the visually impaired. Having a representative of our organization speak on behalf of our advocates helps bring additional awareness and potential funding/support.

Seminars

Throughout the year The Seeing Hand Association provides training and seminars to the public. We are also able to create virtual or online experiences.

As part of our ongoing outreach, bringing awareness to our cause and providing solutions to help create a better livelihood for our participants is the upmost importance.
